When the family sees that the home is no longer safe
Sometimes a son, daughter or relative enters the home and realises that the person they love can no longer manage the kitchen, bathroom, waste, dust, clothes, dishes and passages. It is not about blame. Often it is fatigue, age, illness, loneliness or a difficult period.
In these cases Bellavira works with tact. The goal is not to “throw everything away”, but to recover what daily life needs: access to the bed, safe passages, a usable kitchen, a clean bathroom, free flooring, better air and important objects respected.
The family can send photos and videos. We assess what is urgent, what is delicate, what needs the client’s decision and what can be organised in phases. The result should help the person, not humiliate them.
Can we help if the person feels ashamed?
Yes, but the service must be agreed respectfully. Communication must protect the person’s dignity.
Can documents and memories be kept aside?
Yes. Personal objects are separated according to instructions received.

The form and email are the main channels for a correct assessment. WhatsApp is an additional option if the form is not convenient. Phone calls are not the main channel: during cleaning work the team may not be able to answer, and written details prevent important information from being lost.
