A festival is not a room: it is a living organism

Mega-Fest in Chorzów was one of the experiences that showed how cleaning can become large-scale operational management. A festival is not an apartment, an office or a kitchen. It is a huge territory crossed by people, suppliers, artists, families, technicians, stands, cables, materials, green areas and paths.

Oksana Bayer led the work with a clear logic: the public sees the stage, the music and the atmosphere; the organiser must see everything that can become a problem. Bags, bottles, food containers, grass, pathways, dirty points, stand areas, backstage and moments when intervention is needed without disturbing the event.

Event cleaning: time, rhythm and coordination

At a festival, time is the real enemy. You cannot stop everything to clean. You must move while the event continues, understand where to go, when to enter, where to collect rubbish and how not to interfere with the public or staff.

This experience is now useful for Bellavira in cleaning events, concerts, halls, clubs, congresses and outdoor spaces. A successful event is not only music and lights: it is also ordered space, safe paths, presentable areas and a team that knows when to disappear and when to act.

What a large area teaches

Chorzów taught Timtem to see cleaning as a map: entrances, exits, critical zones, people flow, collection points, accumulation risk, visual presentation and fast final restoration. After the event, the area must be returned to a controlled condition.

That is why when a client asks for event cleaning, we do not ask only about square metres. We ask how many people attend, which areas are used, whether there are food stands, stage, backstage, toilets, parking, schedules and handover times.

Result

Mega-Fest was a test of endurance and organisation. It gave Timtem experience few ordinary cleaning companies can describe: not only cleaning after an event, but managing order during a real large public event.
